Mr. Brandon Chapman (2nd Degree Black Belt Instructor)
Mr. Brandon has been training at Low Country Karate since 2006 when he began his road to Black Belt at the age of 12. In 2009, Mr. Brandon earned his Jr. level Black Belt in the styles of American Karate and Tae Kwon Do.
He has been an exceptional leader to the younger generation of students. Mr. Brandon graduated from PCA, he is a 2016 Graduate of The College Of Charleston, with double majors in African American Studies and Political Science. He was a member of Team Quest karate demonstration team and Student Leadership Team. Mr. Brandon earned his 1st Degree Adult Black Belt in March, 2012. On May 31st of 2014, Mr. Brandon earned his 2nd Degree Adult Black Belt. He works full time as a Community Organizer with a local non profit, the Charleston Area Justice Ministry (CAJM). In that role, he works to build relationships with members from different faith traditions and organizes them to tackle serious community problems, such as; racial discrimination in policing, the lack of affordable housing, and high suspension rates in schools. He is amazing with students of all ages and he is a huge asset to our Karate school.
